This is a reconstruction of the well-known 11th century Czech Olmutz
helmet (also called Moravian nasal helmet).
Our version of this helmet is large in order to allow for a padded cap and/or
chain mail coif underneath, as was common.
The helmet is made from 2 mm steel plates, welded together in the middle.
The nasal is hammered from 5 mm steel banding and also welded to the helmet. This extra-strength nasal section offers excellent protection during battle re-enactment. The nasal is rounded at the lower edge.
Includes adjustable padded liner and a riveted leather chin strap.
Delivery includes a very comfortable, high-quality, adjustable padded liner and
a riveted leather chin strap and a brass buckle.
