King Gustav II 1594-1632 was Sweden king since 1611 to 1632. In 1630 as a defensive maneuver, Gustav II entered in the Thirty Years´ War to preserve Church and the estate of the threat. Excellent strategist, Gustav leaded the army with unusual skill and his position was reinforced with alliances with France, Brandenburg and Saxony.

Gustav Rapier is a faithful reproduction of the original sword, carried by the King. Made of high flexibility carbon steel.

Includes a leather scabbard

This model comes with sharp blade but you can use it for historical fencing, if you change the blade by a compatible OH2255 blunt blade made by the same manufacturer.

The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel you may rub it with mineral or synthetic oil.

The scabbard is designed for shipping not for storing so we suggest you not to keep the blade in the scabbard for long periods of time because metal can be rusted.

No returns will be accepted due to these issues.
