This resistant Gugel, based on models of the High Middle Ages, is very comfortable to use, thanks to its wide hood and its frontal cut that allows a better adjustment and provides a characteristic and realistic medieval appearance.
< Br /> The most distinctive feature of these garments was that they covered both the head and the shoulders. The Vikings were the first to use this hood, or at least the first of which are historical data. In the High Middle Ages it became a garment used daily especially by peasants but also by artisans and pilgrims. Throughout the fourteenth century the basic design was modified, adorning and adjusted more, until, in the XVI it went out of style and stopped being used.
