Excellent spear head of Viking design, suitable for re-enactment since the tip has a safety button. The thickness of the edges is approximately 4 mm in its thickest part and 3 mm in its thinnest part.
This Viking spear head type K belongs to the second main group (type F, I, K, M, G, H) and can be dated to the period 850 – 1100 AD. This information has been obtained from the Petersen catalogue.
