This scabbard has been designed for one-handed practical blunt swords. It has a simple design and it is useful to protect the blade of the sword during transportation.

It is recommended not to keep the swords inside the scabbard for a prolonged period since the swords are usually made of carbon steel and the leather is an hygroscopic material, this can create a wet microclimate and rust the sword.
