Dated approximately between years 1360 - 1390 the known as Churburg Bascinet is actually part of an armor of the many that can be found on the collections of the castle belonging mainly to the Matsh family and being one of the most iconic pieces besides the Milanese armor also can be found there. When someone pronounce "Bascinet" word is almost impossible don´t think in the known as Bascinet n.13 of Churburg.
In Marshal Historical we´ve been working to make a piece based on this gorgeous helmet, simplifying some of the details to allow customer´s customization. Includes also movable visor with removable pin fixation for quick take away as well as vervelles to allow the use of aventail.
