Long description

This cabasset is a replica of a 15th century original depicted in several Spanish manuscripts. Helmets such as this were fashionable from the 15th century onwards and continued to be worn until the late 16th century.

It is made from 2mm thick steel (with a 1.6mm brim) and is provided with a linen inlay and chin strap with a historically correct buckle.
