An essential element in any historical outfit up to the Baroque period. The use of these cords to fasten all kinds of garments can be seen in various sources as late as the 18th century.
Made of cotton with a brass tip sewn on each end. We recommend waxing the cords for longer durability.
Maximum tip thickness: 4.60 mm.
Cord length: approx. 68 cm.
This product is made with cotton dyed with natural dyes. For washing, it is recommended to do so by hand with cold water and a mild detergent. This way, the fabric and dye will not deteriorate and will last longer. Additionally, it is also advisable to turn it inside out to protect the outer side of the product, which is the most important, during the washing process.
