Long description
In 1607 Jacob de Gheyn, native of Antwerp, ilustrated a book that was a success at the time, even if its edition was delayed to prevent it falling into enemy hands. Its Van Roers Wapenhandelinghe, Mvsqvetten Spiesser Ende, a manual of uses and exercises with caliver, musket and pike. Based on that book weve made this beautiful piece of armor, the last of the infantry in modern warfare and could be an excellent addition to any collector or re-creator of the Thirty Years War or the English Civil War. Just like with the ammunition armors of that time, only is done in one size that fits almost all sizes.
