The type of gorget that can be seen by end of the 15th C. it is the logical evolution in armour development. From the bascinet with aventail and vistor, up to the combination of sallet with gorget there is a very understandable improvement. In this combination the protecion is rigid at the neck, yet articulated obaining a great protection and efficiency. Ours is made at the style of central Europe and its perfect for 1480 to 1500.
Made in 2mm Steel. The face bevor is articulated and it´s served with belts.
Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used on its manufacturing. The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel you may rub it with mineral or synthetic oil.
