From the bascinet with aventail and vistor, up to the combination of sallet with gorget there is a very understandable improvement. In this combination the protecion is rigid at the neck, yet articulated obaining a great protection and efficiency. Ours is made at the style of central Europe and its perfect for 1480 to 1500.
