RED DRAGON HEMA SYNTHETIC LONGSWORD GUARD - BLACK

A lot of time and effort went into the design of these guards. A balance between safety, durability and aesthetics is hard to achieve. They are based on an original 15th century historical design. The balls on the end of the quillons allow for a much safer guard with little risk of impalement.

They are manufactured from a very tough plastic which provides a good balance between impact and flexural strength. However, they are plastic and not steel and will break under less pressure than their metal counterparts.
