The blade is made in one piece so it can be used in re-enactment practice. The edge blade may nicked due to the hits.

Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used on its manufacturing. The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel you may rub them with vegetable oil.
