Without a doubt, the gauntlet is one of the most complex pieces of a knight?s armor, and almost always one of the most eye-catching.
These gauntlets imitate the style of 15th-century German gauntlets and are an excellent choice to add a touch of elegance to your knight or mercenary gear.
Made of 1.2 mm thick steel. The steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted nature of our products. The carbon steel is untreated, so it may have rust, which can be easily removed. You can protect this item from rust with synthetic or mineral oil.
This item contains or has brass parts, which means that due to storage it may show traces of patina or grease stains. There are many commercial products that, after removing the grease, will leave the brass shining like the first day.
The leather glove is sewn to the fingertips and can be easily replaced or repaired. The knuckles and finger joints are decorated with brass pieces. This product is made with natural leather. It may contain scratches, imperfections, or not be 100% uniform, but this is proof of its authenticity. Roughness or color may vary slightly, and it cannot be guaranteed that the finish is identical from one product to another. The dyeing is done by natural methods and the final finish may vary depending on the original tone of the leather.
