This prawns can be seen in many miniatures that appear in the Maciejowski Bible. In these illuminations it can be seen how the high neck is buttoned to the top with cloth buttons and mitters are linked to the sleeve. It was used as protection for infantry troops and curiously, this piece is always represented in troops wearing asta weapons.
